Join Field-Based Conservation Experiences!

Task Force Rhino offers rare opportunities to experience frontline conservation operations alongside those protecting Southern Africa’s wildlife. All field placements are coordinated through our trusted partner, TACSOL, a NATO-registered tactical training company with extensive experience in professional instruction, logistics and operational field coordination.

Through this partnership, participants are placed within structured, professionally supervised environments that provide authentic insight into anti-poaching and wildlife protection efforts on the ground.

Field-based conservation experiences can include and are not limited to:

  • Accompanying experienced rangers during foot and vehicle patrols

  • Learning animal tracking and sign interpretation

  • Observing anti-poaching patrol procedures and field operations

  • Gaining firsthand exposure to conservation security operations and fieldcraft

  • Understanding how intelligence, terrain, and teamwork contribute to protecting endangered species

  • And so much more …

All activities are conducted under the guidance of trained professionals, with safety, legality and conservation ethics remaining the highest priorities at all times.

These experiences are designed for individuals seeking meaningful engagement, practical learning and a deeper understanding of what it means to protect Africa`s wildlife. Placements are limited and may require specific fitness levels, background checks, or prior experience depending on operational requirements. There is something for everyone.
